SOIL COLLECTING JOURNEY

Welcome to the official soil collecting journey of the Patriot Soil Flag as it travels state by state across America—uniting our nation through remembrance, sacrifice, gratitude, and honor.

The Patriot Soil Flag is one of the most meaningful living memorial missions ever undertaken in the United States. Created from sacred soil gathered from the resting places of America’s heroes, the flag stands as a symbol of unity and remembrance. Each star on the flag will carry soil collected from veterans cemeteries and historic resting places across all 50 states, along with sacred soil from Arlington National Cemetery, forever connecting generations through the legacy of service and sacrifice.

This journey has already begun.

To date, sacred soil has been respectfully collected from more than 50,000 resting places across America. Every state is represented through soil gathered from national veterans cemeteries, memorial sites, and the graves of veterans and historically significant Americans whose lives helped shape our nation. Additional collections and ceremonies will continue into the future as the mission expands nationwide.

Many of the cemeteries represented in this mission are among the most historically significant sacred grounds in America. These hallowed places tell the story of our nation—from the Revolutionary War and Civil War to World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, and beyond. They preserve the stories of courage, sacrifice, patriotism, and resilience that define the American spirit.

As the Patriot Soil Flag travels across the country, it will be respectfully displayed at national veterans cemeteries, memorial sites, patriotic events, and veteran organizations including AMVETS, American Legion posts, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) posts, Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Marine Corps League chapters, Vietnam Veterans of America organizations, and many others dedicated to supporting veterans and military families.

At each stop, veterans, active-duty military personnel, Gold Star families, elected officials, community leaders, supporters, and citizens from all walks of life will gather to hear the story behind the mission, participate in commemorative ceremonies, and take part in historic photographs documenting this extraordinary journey. The mission also hopes to meet with governors, senators, veteran advocates, military leaders, and organizations across every state that support America’s veterans and patriotic causes.

During the journey, each state’s sacred soil will be ceremonially connected to its corresponding star on the Patriot Soil Flag at locations announced on this website. These moments will symbolize the unity of all 50 states and the shared sacrifice that binds Americans together across generations.

The first state expected to host the Patriot Soil Flag tour is Florida—the home state where this public journey will begin. The flag is expected to travel throughout many counties across Florida, visiting veterans cemeteries, memorial sites, patriotic gatherings, and veteran organizations statewide. Future tour locations and event details will continue to be announced on this website.

The photographs featured throughout this website document the Patriot Soil journey to date and preserve the powerful moments already created through this mission. Photos and videos from each stage of the journey will continue to be shared through PatriotSoil.org and the official Patriot Soil YouTube channel, creating a permanent archive for future generations.

At the conclusion of the nationwide journey, the sacred soil gathered from across America will help plant “Patriot Trees” at veterans cemeteries and memorial locations throughout the country. These living memorials—rooted in the soil of American sacrifice—will stand for generations as enduring symbols of freedom, remembrance, service, unity, and gratitude.
