Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery is a state-operated cemetery in northwestern Wisconsin that serves as a final resting place for U.S. military veterans and their eligible family members. Established in 1998 and opened for burials in 2000, it was built to ensure that veterans in the region have access to a formal, honors-level burial site close to home.
