To honor America’s fallen heroes by planting and growing hundreds of what we call “Patriot Trees” - living memorials spawned from collected soil where our fallen patriot’s now rest. ” Patriot Trees” will be planted in every state across America, and in some of the nation’s most historic and inspiring locations including Arlington National Cemetery and on the lawns of the White House and the U.S. Capitol. ”Patriot Trees” will serve as nationally recognized living memorials honoring those fallen soldiers whose forfeiture of life continues to keep America free.
Gary Sinise with Mary & Gary Robinson
“The Patriot Soil Project” was inspired by Gary Sinise and his tireless personal commitment of support for America’s military personnel. While viewing a “60 Minutes” segment featuring Gary Sinise, I became deeply moved - powerfully overwhelmed – by Sinise’s dedication to our disabled veterans. I knew immediately that I wanted to help honor the brave men and women who have served our country so valiantly.
While serving in the 82nd Airborne Division from 1974 to 1977, I met many soldiers returning from combat tours in Vietnam. Vietnam veterans were not welcomed home as warmly as those returning today. Times were different back then, and the nation’s rejection of its warriors was very painful to observe. Reflecting on that time, I was inspired to write ”The Calling of a Patriot.”
For years I’d hoped to do something very special to honor our nation’s fallen heroes. The CBS special about Gary Sinise was my call to action. (For more information about this patriotic American, go to www.ltdanband.com

Today, “The Patriot Soil Project” is in the early stages of creating a “living memorial” honoring America’s fallen fighting men and women and their heroic sacrifices in defense of their country. “The Patriot Soil Project’ is my way of helping to bring them the recognition they very much deserve.
It is my honor to serve once again,
